Dear ones, imagine waking up a few kilometers from the beautiful city of Taranto, full of the vibrant energy of summer. We often like to daydream about how it feels to experience this enchanting place as tourists, absorbing every moment of its charm and excitement. Let's explore what a perfect summer day in Pulsano would look like, bringing to light the hidden gems and unforgettable experiences that this coastal paradise has to offer.

A perfect morning at the sea

We start our dream day with breakfast overlooking the crystal blue sea. The sound of the sweet waves hitting the shore creates a relaxing backdrop while we savory a fresh pastry, maybe a croissant, paired with espresso. Imagine admiring the dazzling morning view, the sun's rays illuminating the sparkling water.

After refueling, we were able to embark on an unforgettable tour in Taranto through the historic center, discovering the narrow streets full of life. The craft shops and ancient churches, such as the beautiful Cathedral of San Cataldo, reveal the rich heritage of the city. Exploring the streets of Taranto feels like a trip back in time, as the fascinating architecture and local artisans welcome us at every turn.

Let's continue our day with some shopping. The local boutiques offer everything from handmade jewelry to traditional Tarantino crafts, giving visitors the chance to take home a piece of this charming city and support local artisans in the process.

Swimming in the blue waters

As the day reaches its peak, it's time for a refreshing swim! Pulsano boasts two important bodies of water to explore:

  • Lido Silvana: Semicircular cove surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, soft white sand and low bottom; it also includes the evocative Castelluccia Tower in the background

Montedarena beach: Wide tongue of fine sand and low-bottom turquoise waters, ideal for families and bathing services

Baia del Pescatore (Luogovivo): Enchanting sandy crescent, welcoming to the fishermen's boats, with clear water and authentic atmosphere

Serrane Bay: Small quiet bay, side cliffs, crystal clear waters and area equipped with sunbeds, showers and bar-restaurant; dog-friendly and ideal for snorkeling and families

Baia Capparrone (Villa Verde or Baia Verde): Suggestive cove between cliffs and Mediterranean scrub, very clear waters and shallow seabed: a real secret corner

La Fontana, Le Canne, Pezzarossa, Lido Checca, Terrarossa: Other sandy and quiet coves, often free, perfect for those looking for relaxation without crowds

After a swim, we can find relaxation at our lounge bar on our sea view terrace for a well-deserved aperitif at sunset. Imagine sipping a spritz while watching the sky turn to bright shades of orange and pink, the Italian evening experience par excellence.

Savor authentic flavors

Dinner completes our perfect day. In our Roof Top you can find perfect fries and a pizza baked in a wood oven that you will not forget.

The night is still young, and after a delicious meal, we find ourselves attracted by the sounds of live music or perhaps an outdoor concert.
